Since its world launch at the 2003 Frankfurt Motorshow, the Maserati Quattroporte has collected an enviable haul of international awards. Quattroruote, Auto Motor und Sport, Auto Zeitung as well as other leading titles from around the globe were quick off the mark in crowning the Quattroporte the leader in its class. To date, the Quattroporte has won 56 prizes as a berlina that combines refined elegance with the sportiness for which all Maseratis are famed.

Maserati has opted to celebrate these achievements by developing the Maserati Quattroporte Awards Edition. This limited edition and numbered range takes as its cue as the version that most embodies luxury sports motoring: the Quattroporte Sport GT S.

The Maserati Quattroporte Awards Edition accentuates all the qualities that have made the Maserati flagship the stand-out car in the crowded luxury berlina category. Setting it aside from the other versions of the Quattroporte, the ‘Awards Edition’ is characterised by its Dark Shine chrome finish. This new treatment gives the bodywork a new, polished effect. The look was created especially for this limited edition and tagged ‘Quarzo Fuso’. Another eye-catching modification to the exterior is the new 20” dark grey wheel rims. These rims have a satin finish and feature the Multi Trident design. Peeking through the rims are the new Brembo callipers in hand-polished aluminium with contrasting script, exclusively produced for Maserati.

The interior also highlights just how special the Quattroporte Awards Edition is with its advanced technology and use of high quality materials. The seats are in natural Poltrona Frau® leather and feature the Maserati ‘M’ stitched into the back section. The centre of the seats are lined in perforated Alcantara and boast a new ripple motif while the satin Black Piano wood lends a sporting touch.

Completing the exclusive look is a plaque that bears the name Awards Edition on the C-pillar (side door), the brushed aluminium door sill covers and a boot that features leather pockets and chrome battens on the floor. These modifications are all testimony to the craftsmanship and attention to detail that characterises each and every Maserati.
